With the recent launch of its new ATEX Turbolite models, Wolf Safety is the only company to date, able to offer ATEX Certified compressed air safety lamps for use in hazardous areas Compliant for use in zones 1 and 2 hazardous areas, the new ATEX Turbolites can be utilised throughout Europe in the petrochemical, oil, marine and mining industries to provide illumination for many applications such as shot blasting, cleaning and coating of storage tanks and vessels and structural engineering activities

With aluminium super light versions, reducing weight to approximately half that of brass air lamps, the ATEX Turbolites project an intense 250 watt halogen light, amply illuminating any work activity.

The Baylight model provides a high level of all round general illumination and the alternative Floodlight model with a matt reflector offers a powerful wide angle directional beam.

Other major improvements include a stainless steel exhaust unit incorporating a particle trap for a quieter operation, a bulb-life enhancing device, a refined regulator and maintenance free 'sealed for life' bearings.

A comprehensive multi-lingual operating and maintenance instruction booklet with helpful exploded illustrations is supplied with all ATEX Turbolites.

A full range of accessories including anti-static hose, filters, filter stands, tripods and setting and testing devices is also available.

Powered by clean dry compressed air through anti-static rubber hose, without the constraints of plugs, sockets, cables or transformers, the Wolf Safety range of Airlamps, with a safety record of 75 years, have proved a safer alternative to mains and low voltage lighting in hazardous areas and confined spaces, where explosive atmospheres and dangerous wet conditions present a serious risk to the workforce.
