WOLF THE LEADING LIGHT AT SAFETY and HEALTH SHOW Wolf Safety, the leading manufacturer and supplier of torches and portable lighting for explosive atmospheres, will be launching TWO new products at Safety and Health EXPO 2005

The Wolf Zone '0' Headtorch HT-200 has a light source of seven high intensity white LEDs, giving 50 hours duration at full brightness from one set of three AA alkaline primary cells.

With a robust construction and weighing just over 200g, the HT-200 is ATEX and IECEx Certified, and is ideal for hands free lighting in hazardous areas.

The high-tech ATEX approved Wolf Rechargeable Torch uses the latest in rechargeable battery technology, matched with a high efficiency 4 watt halogen bulb.

Two levels of light output give up to seven hours duration.

State of battery charge is indicated with a bar of high intensity red LEDs, which go out one by one as the battery charge diminishes.

Towards the end of discharge, the beam flashes off repeatedly, warning recharging is required.

The highly robust, compact and ergonomic torch design weighs only 325g, a fraction of the weight of competitive performance Safety Torch products.

Chargers are available with 'Quick' (2.5hr) or 'Standard' charge rates and can be configured to run from vehicle or mains voltages.

A unique feature of the charger design is the single handed 'Snap-in, snatch-out' torch holder, designed to give the dual functionality of secure torch retention and quick release, ideal in mobile applications.

Further models in the Wolf Rechargeable Torch range are planned for later in 2005, including versions utilising the latest in high power LED technology.
