Wolf introduces Atex-certified luminaires

A Wolf Safety Lamp product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Mar 2, 2009

Wolf Safety linkable Atex-certified portable fluorescent luminaries are approved for Zone 1 (Cat 2) IIC T3/T4 Hazardous Areas, such as the oil, gas and petrochemical industries and the utility market.

Available with twin or quad 18W, 36W or 55W energy-efficient fluorescent lamp combinations in a wide range of voltages (24V-254V), producing high white light output, the luminaires can be instantly linked in series (plug-and-play), or side by side to provide temporary lighting using Atex plugs and sockets.

They are quick and easy to re-lamp, using standard compact fluorescent lamps readily available from electrical retailers.

Certified to the latest standards and compliant with the Atex Equipment Directives, including End of Life protection circuit ballast for enhanced safety, the luminaires can be fixed in any orientation from mounting points compatible with Unistrut channel support systems and accessories.
