MECO custom-engineered shaft seals will be on exhibit at the International Powder Technology Exhibition (POWTEX) in Tokyo from 28-31 October, 2008.
The exhibition will take place at the Makuhari Messe and is sponsored by the Association of Powder Process Industry and Engineering (APPIE).
Stand number A-100 will feature the custom seal designs from MECO, including seals for dust and vapour containment and seals that help processors to conserve energy.
Capable of accommodating 6mm+ of diametric shaft run-out, MECO seals protect shafts from abrasion damage and can improve equipment function.
They are fit to precise shaft sizes and use a low-flow purge medium in many applications.
