Wolseley appoints product quality
manager
Wolseley, the UK's largest distributor of plumbing and heating products and a major supplier of building materials, has appointed its first product quality manager
Stan Wong has joined the company at its Leamington Spa offices, following a career in automotive engineering Prior to his appointment, Stan was responsible for the introduction of systems and processes for supplier development within the Magna component supplier UK supply base
Reporting to Paul Gallemore, head of health, safety and environment, Mr Wong will be responsible for the implementation of quality systems and standards for the Wolseley UK operations.
Paul Gallemore said: "In this new role, Stan will assume responsibility for improving product and supplier compliance within the supply chain and improving customer satisfaction across all brands.
With extensive operational experience from within the automotive manufacturing environment, Stan brings valuable expertise in quality systems and processes, product quality and manufacturing quality to the Wolseley business".
