WRc focus on effective auditing of
meters

Andy Godley, Project Manager comments, "The project will explore the practical implementation of the guidelines to deliver real benefits from the information produced.
Following implementation, business processes such as water balance calculations, leakage and asset management and regulatory reporting will realise huge benefits and savings.
Interest in the project is high and by extending the deadline - we hope to attract as many interested utilities as we can'.
Closing date for participation in this project is the end of July.
Background to Project CP139.
Project CP139 is part of the WRc GBP1.5M programme of collaborative research called Portfolio.
The Portfolio research programme aims to address topical problems in the water industry through promoting, sharing research costs and leveraging budgets/experience.
The projects in Portfolio are focused on meeting business/environmental needs including: Reducing risk; Anticipating and influencing legislation/regulation; Improving capital and operating efficiency and reducing costs; Strategic asset management and investment planning.
