WRc consolidates activities on Swindon
In April 2005 the National Centre for Environmental Toxicology will transfer from WRc-NSF in Medmenham, to join the Utilities and Environment businesses in Swindon
In April 2005 the National Centre for Environmental Toxicology (NCET), incorporating the WRc-NSF consulting team, will transfer from WRc-NSF in Medmenham, to join the Utilities and Environment businesses in Swindon, as part of the WRc Group Stephen Ramsey, Chief Operating Officer at WRc comments "The move will further consolidate WRc's business, and will offer an opportunity for a more integrated service approach
At Swindon, NCET will have access to a range of laboratories and test facilities to maintain their current level of service." The accredited laboratory testing business of WRc-NSF has now been transferred to Severn Trent Laboratories (STL) with whom WRc has a collaborative service agreement.
WRc-NSF will continue to undertake water fittings and materials testing and the administration of the WRAS scheme at Oakdale in Wales.
