Flowmetering from Krohne, Micronics and
Pulsar
WWEM 06 at Telford on 1-2 November will present many new pipe and open channel flow measurement product offerings: some examples here of those from Krohne, Pulsar and Micronics
At WWEM this year, Krohne (Stand 114) will be showing the new Waterflux 2070 electromagnetic watermeter The Waterflux 2070 is battery powered and is the only electromagnetic watermeter available with energy for more than ten years

Registrations for the WWEM 2008 (Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring) exhibition have increased by 25 per cent, so organisers are urging visitors to plan their visit carefully.
WWEM conference focus on MCERTS sampling/analysis
The organisers of WWEM 2008, the Water Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring event, say the Conference themes will include MCERTS schemes for water and soil sampling and analysis in the laboratory
Easy to install and with no filters, the Waterflux 2070 has been designed for measuring potable water, or water with suspended particles: it is also capable of measuring bidirectional flow.
Krohne is a worldwide leader in the design, development and manufacture of innovative flow and level instrumentation and offers a comprehensive product range including: electromagnetic, coriolis, ultrasonic, vortex, flow switches, variable area, radar and tdr level.
Micronics will be showing clamp-on solutions, that offer savings on installation costs, save disruption and energy! The basis of any good management and control is effective measurement, to provide a picture of what's happening, give feedback on actions taken, measure demand trends and actual consumption! Micronics portable or fixed "clamp-on" solutions based on non-invasive, ultrasonic technology offer a cost-effective alternative to in-line meters with established savings of up to 90%! Micronics will be exhibiting their comprehensive range of "clamp-on" ultrasonic liquid flow and open channel flow meters for water industry contractors and end-users at WWEM on stand 5.
These will include the Micronics Stingray portable area/velocity meter for open channel flow measurement.
Pulsar Process Measurement, specialists in non-contacting ultrasonic level and flow measurement, will be bringing their dBMACH3 transducer to WWEM.
The dBMACH3 is designed specifically for extremely high accuracy open channel flow measurement.
It features a 125kHz operating frequency, giving it exceptional resolution.
Ultrasonic accuracy is a function of the distance over which the measurement is being made, and the dBMACH3 can measure right up to the front of the 75mm long nose cone.
That means it can be mounted very close indeed to the maximum flow level in open channel measurement systems, to achieve maximum accuracy.
dBMACH3 from Pulsar, the most accurate ultrasonic transducer in the world.
