Now Zeitlauf has even more Performax gearmotors
The innovative Performax range of gearmotors from Zeitlauf, which combine high power density with near-silent running, has now been extended to include 32mm diameter models
The input stage of the HRL is tailored towards high speeds and low noise.
This is achieved with a construction using high absorption, individually machine-cut plastic gear wheels in a diecast zinc housing, which reduces noise due to low vibration.
The gears are of a "flowing engagement" design; this means that the gear teeth engage before the previous tooth has disengaged, offering excellent accommodation of higher transferable loads.
Featuring the same rugged diecast zinc outer housing, the radial load stage is focused on precision and power.
Double sided bearings are precision guided; resulting in significantly increased permissible radial forces.
High transferable torques and optimum concentric running at high radial loads are achieved by the closure between the housing and output shaft.
The final output stage of the gearbox contains spur teeth cast into a highly ductile, diecast zinc housing.
This stage is designed for power and support of radial loads at low speed with high torque.
The hardened steel gears are cast from a die optimised to provide a gear solution that accounts for typical shrinkage, resulting in inner teeth of exceptional quality; comparable to teeth made by machining, but at reduced cost.
A cast and knurled output shaft and torsion-proof bearing housing ensure optimum smooth running and exceptionally high torque transfer.
The rugged construction and modular design of the HRL Performax gives specifiers a solution to the most challenging demands and otherwise compromising situations.
