Zwick presents data link between Testxpert and SAP

A Zwick Roell product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Dec 15, 2008

Zwick has presented a new data link between its Testxpert testing software and SAP at the 2008 International Forum for Materials Testing in Ulm on 13-16 October.

The link provides two-way data exchange with SAP, allowing test control parameters to be imported from SAP and results exported from Testxpert to SAP.

The many benefits for users include the elimination of typing errors, significant time savings in both the testing and administration processes, and the avoidance of complicated, manual and often error-prone transfer methods using ASCII files.

Zwick believes that its main advantage is that the importing process from SAP into Testxpert is so advanced that virtually all control parameters of the testing machine can be defined and controlled in real time from within the customers' own IT infrastructure.

This offers both production and research and development organisations the opportunity to reduce errors, secure their test data and enhance the reliability and integrity of their complete testing process.
